Founder of The Leadership Development Group, Tracy brings a depth of expertise in the field of talent management and leadership development. With broad experience as a senior healthcare executive and consulting partner to Fortune 100 companies, Tracy collaborates with clients to develop impactful and innovative leadership development and talent management solutions to meet business needs and drive desired change. TLD Group is comprised of a team of leading-edge academicians, talent management consultants, executive and physician coaches, and facilitators who design meaningful solutions to enable leaders, teams and organizations to reach their goals.
Tracy was previously Senior Vice President, Organizational Effectiveness and Healthcare Practice Leader at a leading boutique executive coaching and leadership development firm; a Leadership and Talent Principal with the Hay Group, one of the world’s most respected leadership and talent development organizations; and a Change Management and Communications Consultant at Bristol-Myers Squibb. Early in her career, Tracy devoted much of her professional life to healthcare administration in some of the leading healthcare institutions in NYC including Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, Mount Sinai Medical Center and Montefiore Medical Center. Tracy is on the faculty of the Department of Psychology, Montclair State University and a frequent public speaker and author on such topics as physician leadership trends, succession planning and talent development.
Tracy earned her PhD in Public Health Policy and Management from New York University. Her doctoral dissertation, Assessing the Critical Behavioral Competencies of Managed Care Physicians, was used as a guide for physician selection for one of the largest managed care organizations. Tracy holds an MPH from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey focusing her research on The Impact of TQM on Integrated Healthcare Delivery Systems, and a BA in Public Health from the University of Rochester. Tracy is a Certified Physician Executive Coach as well as a Board member of the Physician Coaching Institute, a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation, and is certified in a variety of psychometric assessment tools such as the MBTI, 16PF, Hogan and Bar-On EQi. Tracy is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives, a Board Chair for the Education Committee for ACHE-NJ, and a member of the American College of Physician Executives.
Tracy has a passion for making a positive impact on others, spending time with her husband, family & friends, traveling to exotic places, and solving complex challenges…… not the least of which is raising her amazing and challenging teenage daughters and TLD Group’s mascot — their dog Doobie.
Tara Satlow, PhD
Tara is Director of Client Solutions at The Leadership Development Group. Her responsibilities include client relationship and project management, coordination of coaching and consulting engagements, facilitation of TLD Group’s Applied Physician Leadership Academy (APLA) programs, and support of sales and marketing efforts. Tara is a cross-functional professional with twenty years of progressive experience in organizational development, human resources, executive coaching, counseling psychology, and clinical research. Prior to joining The Leadership Development Group, Tara was an Organizational Development Consultant in Human Resources at Lahey Health, an integrated health care system of 15,000 employees comprised of a large academic medical center, community hospitals, behavioral health, continuing care services and community group practice networks in the greater Boston area. Tara previously worked in community mental health and private practice as a psychologist and executive coach and, early in her career, as a research coordinator at Bellevue Hospital and New York University Medical Center in New York City. Tara earned her PhD in counseling psychology from Boston College, her MA in clinical psychology from Connecticut College, and her BA in psychology from Hofstra University. She holds a Graduate Certificate in Executive Coaching (GCEC) from William James College (formerly the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology) and is certified in a variety of psychometric assessments including DISC and Hogan and developmental curricula including Leading Organizational Transitions and Inside Out Coaching.
Tara lives in Andover, MA where she enjoys step class, singing with the Soul Sisters, and her husband’s cooking.
Amy Riemer serves as Director of Marketing and Public Relations for The Leadership Development Group. Amy draws on more than 28 years of experience in developing branding and marketing campaigns for corporations and non-profit organizations. Amy works with the leadership team on the communication and branding efforts for TLD Group by overseeing all marketing, public relations and social media campaigns. Amy was previously with Reed Exhibitions, Edelman Public Relations and PAN Communications serving a client base including consumer products, healthcare companies, trade shows, non-profit organizations and small businesses. Amy is a graduate of Rowan University with a B.A. in Communications.
In addition to traveling extensively for both work and fun, Amy is on the Executive Board of Temple Emanuel in Andover, MA where she lives with her husband. She is very active in her community, but her greatest pleasure is when her three twenty-something aged sons visit for long weekends.
Lisa Clarke serves as the Director of Operations and Coaching for The Leadership Development Group. She brings more than 20 years of administrative support experience to the company. Lisa works with our leadership team and coaching partners managing client engagements. She oversees client support and coaching services, from commencement of coaching engagements through their conclusion. Prior to joining TLD Group, Lisa provided administrative and marketing support to several industry groups including executive search, marketing and advertising agencies, and media companies. Lisa graduated from the State University of New York at Oswego with a B.A. in Political Science.
Lisa left her heart in Venice, Barcelona and Paris but lives in New York City where she enjoys critiquing bad movies, listening to political podcasts, and risotto.
Kimberly Rubenstein serves as Senior Project Manager at The Leadership Development Group. Kimberly works with the leadership team to provide support for various projects including development of client reports, original articles on trending leadership themes, and the firm’s quarterly newsletter. Kimberly is a graduate student pursuing a Ph.D. in Applied Organizational Psychology at Hofstra University. She received her Master’s of Science in Experimental Psychology at Seton Hall University, where she gained experience in psychological experimentation and managed several research projects. Through her doctoral training, Kimberly hopes to pursue a career in organizational development consulting.
In her free time, Kimberly enjoys delving into the great outdoors, whether it’s by biking, hiking, kayaking, or simply taking long walks in her local neighborhood.
